My kids have found a new trend for 7 and 10 year olds. There are these little plastic bracelet bands called Silly Bandz that, when untwisted, form all sorts of shapes. There are peace signs, flowers, musical instruments, Star Wars, dinosaurs, fruits, vegs... you name it there are shapes for it. It reminds me of a trend we used to have as kids, coloured and designed shoelaces ~ okay enough of that, I feel like i'm aging myself!
