{1 in 2011} First Day of January

It was a beautiful, frosty and sunny day here today.  What a great way to start 2011.  We decided to go for a walk to one of my favourite places to take photos.   It is an open field surrounded by a forest and a swamp in the middle.  It is a magical place and when it's foggy it looks even more magical.   I just love the ice crystals that formed on all the trees and branches.    What a great day to start 2011!!
