What an exciting day it was today! The Olympic torch made it's way through our community and what an incredible turnout! There were tons of people all dressed in red and white, waving maple leaf flags. It was an amazing site. I was able to catch a quick photo of the torch runner as she passed by us. It was a very quick moment, as they are extremely well timed.
After this stretch of the route, the torch it made its way to the Events centre where hundreds of people gathered. Wow what an energy!! I'm so glad to have been part of it and am very excited for the games to begin - even without all that white stuff!!
