WELCOME to my blog

This space is meant to be a creative outlet for me to share photos and stories and attempt to capture the everyday things in life that sometimes don't get noticed. It's also a very good reason to just take photos!!! Enjoy!

{13 in 2011} shutter speeds

Day 3 of 31 Days to a better photo talks about shutter speeds.  I've been shooting with my camera for over 2 years and I still find that if I put it down for too long, I have to start back at square one trying to understand shutter speeds!     So I decided to refresh my mind,  yet again!!,  on shutter speeds and try this exercise -  shooting an object at different shutter speeds (all aperature F5.6 and ISO 250):

Shutter speed = 1/3

 Shutter speed = 1/15

Shutter speed = 1/40

I am still so new with my camera that I have to think about everything. I hope it becomes more natural soon. Your photos truly show the difference shutter speed can make.
