Lately I'm really drawn to photos that have a vintage effect to them, or plain old photos that are vintage. I've been meaning to spend some time trying to figure out how to duplicate that effect on some of my photos using Photoshop. Today I finally sat down and tried it out. Here are some examples of the vintage effect I was going for....
This first one is an example of a Photochrom Vintage effect :
The second one is my attempt to convert a modern photo (taken in July 2010) into a vintage one:

you are right its addictive and looks like a good winter project for me because it is toooo cold outside. lol
