We have a bit of a forest of sorts, in our backyard and lately we have noticed 2 stellar jays hanging out. I noticed that they were coming in the mornings around 9-9:45am, but today I noticed them in the backyard at around 1:00pm. They were hard to photograph because they were so far away, so I grabbed a hand full of bird seed and sprinkled it right in front of my window. Soon they discovered the new found food, but never quite ventured onto the table. I was able to catch a few nice close ups of them.
I was hoping that they would figure out that there was food on the table, but instead a little swallow discovered that.
Next time we'll see if the Jays can figure it out!
